Dear ANA-NY Member,
The ANA-New York Nominations and Elections Committee is seeking nominees from the membership for a slate of candidates to be elected by secret electronic ballot.
SLATE OF OPEN POSITIONS
Officer Positions
- President and ANA Membership Assembly Representative (two- year term, 2020-2022)
- Treasurer (two- year term, 2020-2022)
Director-at-Large Positions
- Two (2) Directors-at-Large (two- year term, 2020-2022)
Nominations Committee
- Three (3) Member Positions (two- year term, 2020-2022)
the candidate with the most votes will be chair-elect
Eligibility Requirements
The ANA-NY Bylaws state under Qualifications:
To be eligible to serve on the Board of Directors, a person shall:
- maintain current membership in ANA-NY throughout the term of office.
- not be an employee of ANA-NY.
- adhere to the ANA-NY conflict of interest policy.
See Board of Directors Responsibilities and Duties of Officers in Article V Section 5 and Section 9 of the ANA-NY Bylaws
The Nominations and Elections Committee shall:
- be composed of five (5) members elected in accordance with the Nominations provisions in these Bylaws
- solicit the names of members qualified and willing to serve if elected
- prepare a slate of qualified candidates for each office to be filled
- assure geographic and occupational group representation on the ballot
- implement the policies and procedures for nominations and elections as established by the Board of Directors or as provided for in these bylaws.
- ensure implementation of the Nominations and Elections provisions of these Bylaws
