Learning the difference between impact versus intent of communication and behavior will empower participants to differentiate shame, guilt, humiliation, and embarrassment and reflect on different responses. Describing the bystander effect and ways to overcome it will support participant’s practice of the 5 D’s of Bystander Intervention. Exploration of behaviors to support ALLYSHIP provides learners with the opportunity to commit to a SMART goal for allyship.
